This mindset is dangerous, yet common- especially for those who's never experienced goodness consistently. This verse serves as God's reminder that pain is not your portion. Struggle is not your story. And darkness is not your destiny.
Just because your life has been filled with hardship doesn't mean it was meant to stay that way. God's promise in Jeremiah 29:11 is clear | He has a plan for you, and it's rooted in goodness. It may not look like it yet, but His intention has always been to give you a future and Hope.
The truth is, you may have to leave what is familiar to experience what's divine. Some environments cannot support the version of you that's called to prosper. Even now, after everything you've been through, you are still chosen. There is favor waiting on the other side of your surrender. Your life still has purpose, God has not changed his mind about you.
